Started making an UC application when I had to pause at the joint-claims section because you have to give a linking code to your partner but my partner cannot make a claim for UC because her visa says "no recourse to public funds".
The link code is for making a new claim or changing an existing claim so, to get some advice I phoned the UC helpline at 5.30pm and been on the line 50 minutes, the music playing and a standard message saying they are open from 8am to 6pm but could it be possible they have gone home with claimants hanging on the phone?! or do they do overtime ?
